DeleteI'm embarrassed to admit the Morse code may not be insightful enough on their own to warrant the time and attention required to decipher them. I hadn't quite thought that through. They're kind of 'seedling' ideas for another work. I hope any of the little mottos or anecdotes you may have discovered meaningful, though I suspect the joy of "cracking a code" may be more enjoyable than the actual messages themselves are.
That reminds me, I should add the "Drink Your Ovaltine" scene to this list of movie scenes.

The Tokyo! anthology has been one of my favorites for a while. I find myself thinking about it more often than I’d like to admit.
DeleteBut I thoroughly enjoy how this collection is absurd yet oozing with nostalgia. It begs for worlds that are just barely out of reach. This is a collection by a dreamer – a fearless storyteller that has a knack for pick defining moments out of films…someone that really pays attention and strives for more than just what the masses would be content with.
You’ve managed to collect and showcase art in a time where most are content with CGI explosions and mega-budget filmmaking, and I appreciate that most of all.

Tokyo! is great. A side-effect of this Alternating Currents challenge is revisiting a lot of movies I had some strong relationships with at different times. I watched Tokyo! a lot during a short period of time, and haven't seen it now for years. Looking this scene up again was evocative of that time, and I've been looking forward to watching it in full again (soon).
